Children studying drama develop skills that enable them to create their own plays to perform. Children studying speech learn all aspects of communication including performance, reading aloud, poetry recitation, speech writing and presentation. Children learn to communicate effectively and explore their creativity through a dynamic, funfilled activities. Offering professional programs for children wishing to study speech and/or drama. They undergo a variety of master classes to build valuable skills and perform in productions which are either self devised or from published plays.

The studio is devoted to nurturing young people. We trust that the performing arts can inspire young people to be confident, original communicators. With a variety of programs to choose from, there is something for everyone!! Some people prefer the dynamic merriment environment of our Kidd on Stage Drama ProgramTots on Stage Zip Zap Zoom, to inspire confidence in their kid or to defy their child’s ingenious energy. Others like our more formal Hennessy Speech Program that enables students to develop confidence and skills in public speaking. All our programs have long term benefits and strive to thrive young people who are confident in articulating their thoughts and ideas, selfless them the skills and confidence to move forward in our competitive world. With a change in business name, comes a fresh approach to the programs now on offer. Classes are available for children from 3 to 18 years, with a mighty emphasis on offering a diverse range of programs (speech, drama, preschool drama and reading readiness program and a production based acting ensemble for teenagers). Rachel's long training has allowed her to flourish unique and professional programs aimed at providing excellence in speech and drama tuition. She continues her professional development through various workshops and is currently occupied towards completing her Licentiate Diploma with Trinity Guildhall, London. She also appears in a feature film Body in the Yard. She is an intuitive teacher who brings warmth and professionalism to her classroom. She has been teaching with the studio for 5 years. Charlotte attained her speech teaching qualification through I.M.E.B in 2008 and brings a youthful and exuberant approach to her teaching. She was also Vice President of SUDS in 2013. Charlotte is a competent teacher, currently teaching fulltime in the Northern Beaches. Charlotte pursues her passion for performance, poetry and public speaking through her teaching with The Hennessy Speech and Drama Studio. This year Ellen will be combining her passions of teaching and drama while completing her Masters Degree in Teaching at UN SW in subjects Drama and SocietyCulture.
